If you access our Services from outside the United States, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States. By using our Services, you consent to the transfer of information to the United States. We comply with applicable privacy laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for users in the European Union and other applicable international privacy laws.
If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use our Services. By using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read and accept the terms of this Policy.
We keep this Policy on our Website. You should review this Policy frequently, as it may change from time to time and without notice. When you use our Services, we may collect information that identifies, relates to, describes, references, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular individual ("Personal Information"). Personal Information does not include information that is publicly available or de-identified ("non-personal information"). We reserve the right to use non-personal information for any purpose consistent with applicable law. Note that information posted to publicly available sites, like social media sites, is not subject to this Policy.
It is always your choice whether to share your Personal Information with us. Please note that if you choose not to share certain information, we may not be able to provide you with our Services. We may collect the following information:
Identity Information. Examples include first name, last name, address, email address, or other similar identifiers, and medical information.
Consumer Health-Related Information. Examples include food tracking data, symptom logs, sleep data, exercise data, heart rate, mood data, calculated wellness scores, medical appointment information, and other health information you input or expressly permit to be integrated via HealthKit. For more information about how we handle your health-related data, please review our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.
Sensory Information. Examples include audio and visual information through recordings via the Services.
Photo Food Analysis: When you use the camera feature to photograph meals we use artificial intelligence (AI) to identify food items, analyze nutritional components, and detect potential allergens or triggers. These food photos are processed on your device and stored locally with your other food tracking data. Photos may be synchronized to our backend servers for cross-device access. The AI Analysis helps automatically populate nutrition information and identify ingredients that may be relevant to your health tracking. You can revoke camera permissions at any time through your iOS device settings.
Voice Food Recording: You may grant microphone access to vocally record and log your food intake. When you use voice recording, your audio is processed to transcribe the food items you mention. This voice-to-text processing helps you quickly log meals without manual typing. Voice recordings are converted to text and then discarded; we do not store the actual audio recordings. The transcribed text is stored with your food tracking data on your device and synchronized to our backend servers. You can revoke microphone permissions at any time through your iOS device settings.
Payment Information. Examples include credit or debit card information and information about the payment methods and services you use in connection with the Services. We do not store your full payment card details.
Account Information. Examples include your subscription information, username and password, transaction history, profile preferences, and other account history information.
Medical Appointment Information: Information about healthcare appointments you schedule or track, including appointment dates, doctor names, medical specialties, appointment locations, phone numbers, and notes. This information may be synchronized with your iOS Calendar if you grant permission.
Characteristics of protected classifications. Examples include your age, gender, sex, self reported medical conditions.
Internet or other electronic network activity information. Examples include browsing history, search history, and information regarding your interaction with an internet website application or advertisement, language preference, browser type and version, time zone setting and location, browser plug-in types and versions, referring/exit pages, number of clicks, ads viewed, Equipment information such as device type, operating system and platform, and information about the Equipment you use to access our Services.
